Duration of the courses
Duration shall be for a period of three years and one year of Internship for B. Sc Courses.
Duration shall be for a period of two years and one year of Internship for M. Sc Courses.

Eligibility Criteria
A candidate seeking admission to the Bachelor of Science Degree Courses in the Allied Health Sciences course shall have studied English as one of the principal subject during the tenure of the course and for those seeking admission to the Bachelor of Science Degree Courses in the Allied Health Sciences courses above except for B.Sc. Imaging Technology shall have passed:

  1. Two year Pre-University examination or equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences with, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as principle subjects of study.
    OR
  2. Pre-Degree course from a recognized University considered as equivalent by RGUHS, (Two years after ten years of schooling) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as principal subjects of study.
    OR
  3. Any equivalent examination recognized by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore for the above purpose with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as principal subjects of study.
    OR
  4. The vocational higher secondary education course conducted by Vocational Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala with five subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in addition to vocational subjects conducted is considered equivalent to plus TWO examinations of Government of Karnataka Pre University Course.

  5. Candidates with two years diploma from a recognized Government Board in a subject for which the candidate desires to enroll, in the respective Allied Health Sciences course shall have passed plus 12 [10+2] with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, as principal subjects or candidates with 3 years diploma from a recognized Government Board in a subject for which the candidate desires to enroll, in the respective Allied Health Sciences course should have studied Physics, Biology and Chemistry as principal subjects during the tenure of the course.
  6. Lateral entry to second year for allied health science courses for candidates who have passed diploma program from the Government Boards and recognized by RGUHS, fulfilling the conditions specified and these students are eligible to take admission on lateral entry system only in the same subject studied at diploma level from the academic year 2008-09 vide RGUHS Notification no. AUTH/AHS/317/2008-09 dated 01.08.2008.
  7. In case of admission to B.Sc. Imaging Technology or B.Sc. Radiotherapy Technology the candidate should have passed Pre-University or equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics, as principal subjects of study.

Under Graduate Course- Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT)

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifying Examination

A Candidate seeking admission to first year Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT):

  1. The candidate shall have passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects. 
  2. Candidates who have completed Pre-university course with Vocational Physiotherapy as their optional subject are eligible for admission to BPT course.

Selection of Candidates
The selection of students to a course of Physiotherapy shall be based on merit provided that:

  1. In case of admission on the basis of qualifying examination, a candidate for admission to BPT course must have passed individually in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and must have obtained not less than 45% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled.
  2. Tribes or Category I, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology together in qualifying examination is not less than 40% instead of 45% as above.

Duration of the Course
The duration of the BPT Course shall be four and half years including internship of six months.

Selection of Candidates

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) of Government of Karnataka shall conduct the centralized counselling for UG course (Medical-MBBS) and seats are allotted by merit selection which is based on National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET - UG) conducted by  National Testing Agency (NTA).

Seats sharing and reservation as per Consensual Agreement Between Government Of Karnataka And Association Of Minority Professional Colleges In Karnataka (AMPCK) In The Matter Of Regulating Admissions And Fee Structure To The Under Graduate (Medical-MBBS) Course In Private Professional Colleges of Medicine Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates in possession of MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the NMC Act, 2019 and the repealed Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and possessing permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the NMC/ the erstwhile Medical Council of India or State Medical Council and have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before the prescribed cut-off for a particular admission session, and are eligible in NEET-PG conducted by  National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are in possession of recognized post graduate medical Degree/Provisional Pass Certificate (MD/MS/DNB) or an equivalent recognized qualification or are likely to be in possession of the same by the prescribed cut-off date for a particular admission session in accordance with eligible feeder specialty qualifications for super specialty courses, are eligible in NEET-SS conducted by National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS, MOHFW & FW,GOI shall conduct the  All India counselling for all SS courses (DM/MCh.) and  seats are allotted by merit selection which is based on National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET - SS)  conducted by National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS)

Period of Training

The period of training for the award of various postgraduate degrees or diplomas shall be as follows:

(1)Doctor of Medicine (D.M.) / Master Chirurgiae (M.Ch.)

The period of training for obtaining these degrees shall be three completed years (including the examination period) after obtaining M.D./M.S. degrees, or equivalent recognised qualification in the required subject
